Temperature data loggers, also known as temperature monitor/s, TMD’s, dataloggers, are portable recording and measurement devices that record temperature at chosen intervals over a period of time that is determined by the devices storage capacity. PIMM™TAG and PIMM™TAG lite devices last for 90 days at 5 minute intervals which is suitable for the majority of deliveries.

The digital data can then be retrieved, viewed and evaluated after it has been recorded.

Temperature monitoring devices (TMD’s) or dataloggers can be used to monitor temperature sensitive products such as pharmaceuticals, foods and chemicals during logistics and storage. Procuro has a database of temperatures and the period which these temperature sensitive products can be stored at and if the temperature breaches these thresholds then this needs to be invested and the product may need to be tested.

The products quality and state will be negatively affected during these times of temperature breach. Temperature monitoring is mandatory for some products under regulations and contracts.

When the PIMM™TAG lite device is inserted into computer using the built in USB a PDF and CSV report is created which can be saved, printed and emailed.

When PIMM™TAG is inserted into computer using the built in USB our PIMM™ Connect desktop software opens and data can be viewed such as thresholds, alerts and senders details, a PDF and CSV file can also be saved, printed and emailed.
